The Catholic Education Foundation, founded in 1987, is a charitable trust providing tuition assistance to poor and underserved children attending Archdiocesan Catholic elementary and high schools in the five pastoral regions of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. In providing tuition assistance to the most financially deserving families, our mission is to ensure that our Catholic schools remain open, available and affordable to the children of Los Angeles for generations to come.

Employees of the CEF work as a team to:

• Raise funds from organizations and individuals through appeals, grant writing and special events.
• Administer programs providing tuition assistance to students who meet the requirements of the programs
• Assess the needs of the schools and children supported by the Foundation.
• Track program results and achievement data.

The Catholic Education Foundation is part of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, which offers an excellent benefits plan that includes Medical/Vision, Dental, 403(B) plan, Pension plan, as well as vacation time, sick time and holiday schedule.
